FOOTBALL FUSION FESTIVAL

When Gillett High School's football team was shut down and the players given the opportunity to play at DeWitt High School, things looked pretty dim for Arkansas County High School sports.  Luckily, several Gillett players made the decision to play football for the DeWitt Dragons, and now I have taken up the chance to help out both communities and to promote my radio show through an event I have dubbed "Football Fusion Festival."  It will be a two-hour event, with a meal for the first hour (with guest speakers) and my radio show (The Red Zone) for the second hour.  The Red Zone will be focused on the merger of the two high school football traditions.  We have some great guests, and one name you will all recognize. All details are listed below, and I want everyone to try and make it to this event...

Thursday August 9th

Football Fusion Festival (created and under supervision of Brady Holzhauer)

12:00-2:00 PM

Will take place at PCCUA-DeWitt campus, the community room



Craig O' Neill will be attending and shooting news footage for KTHV channel 11 in Little Rock.


MEAL from 12:00-12:50

(Sandwiches, chips, deserts, drinks)

SILENT AUCTION of sports memorabilia will be going on throughout the entire event. All proceeds will go to pay towards THE RED ZONE.
