They won a national championship last year in some league. I think they are in the process of moving from being a club team to ncaa team.

No offense, but club ball is a long way from any real division.
None Taken.  Pretty sure her decision was based on attending that school in particular.  She realistically could have signed with a lower tier Div 1 school or went the Div II route.  I'm sure SAU would have taken her quick.  They went to the Div. II WCWS last season.  She is a very good player with a strong work ethic.
