It is ridiculous that you do not have one team from 5a west in the top ten.  VB come on they have been beaten by two teams in the 5a west one of which beat Bryant also.  Come on do your homework a little bit better please.

The conference doesn't warrant a Top 10.  They might though before too long.

Harrison's coming along after a suspect pre-season and their wins of late cut into the credibility of the West.

I'm not knocking the West and I'm on record that Alma is pretty good.  But their loss to Harrison might have kept them from gaining entry into the Top 10.

I for one am glad they don't pick teams just cause they think a conference should be represented.  That's too affirmative action like for my standards.

But you're correct.  The polls are only for discussion.  The players get to settle this sport themselves.

they were misinformed in their comment about Siloam Springs girls leading Vilonia in the 3rd quarter - Siloam did tie the game during the first minute of the 3rd quarter, but never led.  Not that anyone's counting...   ;)

Harrison is not 3-0. Greenbrier has beaten them and VanBuren.

Harrison was thumped at home by Greenbrier, and was down 27-9 at halftime...then Harrison went to Alma and beat them on their home court. So it's unlikely that Alma even has a sniff at a top 10 ranking anytime soon, unless they go on a 5 or 6 game win streak.

Forrest City is a good team but deserving of the ranking you gave them.  I agree with Bball.

I am sorry.. I made a mistake.  I meant to say that Forrest City was NOT deserving of the ranking you gave them.  I just can't type well.
