After watching the PG game, im pretty confident when i say this. Nashville by 21

DerekOxford

Scrappers (10-2) will come in heavy favorites, they are 19-2 in the playoffs with Dawson as the HC.

Tigers (11-0) are undefeated though, and have only allowed 47 points in those eleven contests.

Should be fun one regardless.

hawgfan15

Looking forward to the long trip to PG! After PG's performance tonight I like our chances. Gonna be hard to hold the Scrappers under 50 points.

Bigbossman

Nashville 52 (45 at half)
PG 21 (14 at Half)

Get ready PG Scrapper Nation travels good, there will be a crowd on hand for this one.

I expect Nashville to double the season point total.

Field conditions this late in the year may go in PG's favor. Pottsville did a lot of slipping tonight. Taking nothing away from PG. Everyone plays on the same field and you cant grow grass in 30 degree weather. It was a great game. I'll be there next week when Nashville comes a callin

I noticed that. Had Perry not slipped in the 4th this would be a pottsville nashville thread

Crucial play! And then on 4th and 3 Perry bootlegs right, pressure come from Pg and Perry fumbles the ball backwards about 30 yds. Perry and Pottsville's players/fans will not sleep well for awhile.

Nashville has 3 200 lb backs that can fly. I dare it to rain.

Look forward to it.  Come early and enjoy one of the two eating joints in town.  Nothing as good as the Fish Nest, but still good food.  You willl find us a lot nicer than some of the teams you play to the north of you.

Might have been looking ahead just a little tonight and we are very fortunate to get the W.  I will give the tigers credit though because a lot of teams down 28 to 12 in the 4th might have just packed it in but they didn't.  If not for a defensive adjustment it would have been a little different.
These players know what they're up against this week and look forward to the challenge.

This is a great PG team, maybe the best ever.  Nashville is coming off of a below .500 record and has a very down group of classes making up this team and this is not one of Nashville's best 12 or 15 teams.  If you go back and read what just about everybody said about these very same kids over the last 12 months you will come to realize the Scrappers are just lucky to make it this far.  Nobody gave them a chance with such a massive talent drop off from the mid 2000 days.

As a matter of fact, some very close to the program predicted this team to be below .500 again and not win as many games as they did in 2011. This is PG's chance to knock off a traditional power and I expect it to be a terrific game.

mulerider, now im usually right there with ya, but Im gonna say IMHO with regards to luck, the only luck we have had is in our QB knee, and the fact that it has held up for him. Other than that man they have just flat played ball. Granted we are not looking at one of the mid 2000 teams but its arguable that we have two of the best running backs to ever grace the hill. And thats just the tip of the iceberg, I wouldnt say there has been a tremendous amount of luck involved. And im even sayin we hadnt had even bad luck our two losses should have been wins but we played a huge roll if not the biggest roll in securing those wins for arkadelphia and WC.again just my opinion, but its unlikely Nashville will lose again, and thats prob how its gonna be for the next few years.

Completely different situation. IF Pg holds Nashville to 21 points then they will be the 4A State Champs. You and many others do not understand the monster that this Scrapper offense is. You will all be believers in a few weeks.

TSW

What did I miss , if they hold to 21 they only have to score 22 not 50

No 50 to 60 is probably the norm, before the 9th comes up.

hawgfan15

I will go with 56. Maybe 49 if PG plays better than what they did tonight

Just took another glance at the 4 teams left in the bottom half of tje bracket.  If come out of that you should just be rewarded the champs.  Tough.....

You need to be more worried about the points Warren is about to put on your Ricebirds. The winner of this game won't matter much to a team who is sitting at home after next Friday.

Hawgfan, I haven't got to see and games film yet on Nashville.  What is their pass to run ratio?

We are very balanced. We are averaging 238.8 pass yards a game and 196.3 rush yards a game.

Our QB Joel Hendry has thrown for 3,325 yds and 44 TD and 8 INT
Leading rusher is Jakaree Gaines with 120 carries for 1,192 yds and 14 TD's
Top two receivers are LaVonte Thomas 45 catches for 932 yds and 16 TD's and Donyell King 43 catches for 757 yds and 10 TD's

Look I underestimated this Scapper offense not once but twice and they have played good enough opponents to prove that it is legit. PG doesn't have a chance if Nashville comes out to play because their offense will not be able to keep up with Nashville's. Their only two losses came against White Hall and Arkadelphia because of a turnover filled game and a game that also featured a healthy Badger offense that was even more potent than Nashville's until the injuries came along. This game just doesn't match up well for PG.

PG had all their kids stay after the game tonight.  The plan is they are going to run 3 yards then fall down.  We call it ball control.  We figure we will give nashville 1 possession every quarter and a half.
