With the World Cup capturing the attention of the world, Nike has sponsored a program called "The Chance". The program allows players who will be 18 by July of 2011 to promote themselves to the Nike Academy as a quality player to be scouted. The Chance is the opportunity to win a place in the Nike Academy in the UK for one year to complete a pro-level football training program run by Nike and supported by the Premier League.
Players can promote themselves with press clippings, coach's reviews, accomplishments, player comments, videos, photos, and spectator comments, which are posted on a facebook page created through the "The Chance" program. Players also can gain recognition with how big a fan base they can build for their page.
William Hidalgo is a highly skilled player who puts in the extra hours of training all year to improve his abilities and conditioning. I have coached William in his early years and have enjoyed watching him excel in the classic league, ODP, and high school. William is currently in the top 40 players based on his fan base.
I would ask you to support this Arkansas talent by using the link below to visit William's fan page and become a fan by clicking the
LIKE button. Then pass it along to as many soccer fans as you can.
