April 23-25, 2010 in Grapevine, Texas.

Bill Hillhouse is coming back to the DFW Metroplex in April for our Spring Softball Pitching Camp.  Coach Hillhouse is widely recognized as an outstanding professional pitcher and coach who tells it like it is and demonstrates how it's done.  He has played on several USA National and World National teams throughout his 20 year career and still pitches for a top-ranked professional team in New York that won 2nd place at the US Nationals last summer.  If you are not sure who Bill is, please check out his web site at  www.houseofpitching.com  or simply do an internet search on his name.  Coach Hillhouse will get the most out of your pitcher by quickly identifying problems and teaching well proven solutions to correct them.

We work with a growing list of top pitchers from some of the great softball organizations throughout the metroplex and surrounding region.  If you are looking for an edge over tournament competition, you'll want to have your pitcher work with Bill Hillhouse!  We have pitchers playing A Select, Gold & College level softball throughout the region beginning with 10U up and through a sophmore in college.

You will be personally coached by one of the best pitchers in fastpitch softball today.  Whether you are learning the basics or perfecting advanced movement pitches, lessons with Coach Hillhouse are a great opportunity for pitchers of any age or skill to master vertical ball movement, disguise pitch selection and constantly vary pitch speeds.  His "Absolute Mechanics" are designed help you stay injury free throughout your playing career.  He coaches with the shoulders, hips and feet in an open position along the power line with only one set of delivery mechanics for all movement pitches.  There are no giveaways to your pitch selection and he will teach you to use correct spin with varied pitch speeds.  Lessons are a full one-hour long.

Throwing batting practice is an excellent way to introduce gold hitters to the better vertical ball movement they will surely see from elite pitchers.  Bill will expose holes in your swing, show you where good pitchers will attack your weaknesses and help you learn how to pick the pitcher's pitch by the giveaway tendencies found in their own mechanics. You get to choose how many batters will participate in these sessions.  They are based on 30 minute increments and can be as long as you need them to be.

A great resource for any pitching coach, team coach or hands-on parent to learn the Hillhouse Absolutes and to help you manage your pitcher in between Bill's regular visits into the DFW Metroplex.  There is a brief discussion on how and why he pitches the way he does compared with how other instructors commonly teach all while explaining and showing you the differences.  Bill will actually throw the pitches to demonstrate the proper mechanics involved in pitching with correct spin and deception.  This teaches both the good and the bad of what is commonly taught to help you make sound decisions.  It all leads up to an outstanding Q & A session that usually last around two hours.

This is an open and personal discussion with an outstanding pitcher & coach having vast professional experience.  It is a great learning opportunity for everyone who attends.  Team coaches, pitching coaches, parents and older pitchers are invited.
