You sticking with that after Conway beats Cabot?

How does Dover move to the 10 spot when they lost to Boonville?

The fact that Quitman is #6 in 2A made my day. Thank you FF I needed this.

Still out of touch with actual results, especially in lower classes

Dover is my fault.  It's a typo.  I was looking at the wrong column.  I'll get it fixed.  Thanks for pointing that out!!

Cabot fell five spots in the Top16.  They also slipped a bit in the 7A rankings.

Make a case for what you feel like is "out of touch".  I'm willing to bet most, if not all, of the voters read the forums.  You may be able to sway a voter or two.

Quitman and cross county are kinda high, actually Quitman is way high.

Quitman, while undefeated, has played one team with a winning record: perennial power Cutter Morning Star who is currently 4-2. None of their other 5 opponents have a record better than 1-5. The overall combined record of their opponents is 7-29. Cutter Morning Star played them within a touchdown, while other top 10 teams have beaten them by 50+. Also, it's not as if Quitman returned players from a team that made a run last year. They have been the beneficiaries of an incredibly weak schedule, and therefore I believe are extremely overrated at this point. I do some computer modeling, and my model rewards teams that are undefeated because they've done all they can do, but even with that adjustment Quitman is behind 14 other 2A teams. I would pump the brakes on them a little bit. If they play England or Hector or even Conway Christian within 21, then I'd consider them worthy of something, but I fully expect them to be blasted by all three of those teams

I feel quitman being highly ranked is more to do with 6-0 than anything. I seen another poll, earlier this year that had them and Conway Christian ranked on the top 10 for blasting 3 3a teams in a row. After glancing at their schedules, that stat no longer seemed impressive. That said. It won't surprise me a bit if quitman beats Conway Christian Friday night

Great stuff!!  I love it.  Thanks for passing it along.  I can't speak for everyone else, but I Have Quitman lower in my rankings.  The way I look it, they'll either earn their spot or fall in the next few weeks.

Using that logic, p-w should be ranked as well. They have beaten the defending 2A state champs  ;D

I actually have Des Arc and PW a lot higher in my rankings than anyone else.  I think the rest of the voters will come around on both pretty soon.

Top of the 6-2a is historically top 10 worthy. How many teams do y'all list in your ranking?

I believe he is asking how many 6-2a teams have received votes after all the votes have been tallied?
