The town of Booneville might need to worry about where their football program is headed. Big news coming out of there in the next few weeks.
If you are talking about A new coach, No we need not worry about a thing. Coach May will be the next man for the job, and i believe he will be Boonevilles next great head coach. ;)

We are worried.  Since we didnt win the big show this year we are cancelling football and focusing all our efforts on soccer.

Your way behind if you just heard that rumor minerjack.

Hootie

LOL he said Booneville needs to worry about their football program.. Didn't they win a title last year, and arguably had the 3rd best team in the state this year? Booneville doesn't need to worry about squat.. Except squats.. Since it's off-season  ;D

Got some word earlier this morning.  No, Coach Hyatt will be staying.  Someone else is taking the job.

My last post and food for thought. But, why apply and interview if he has no interest?  Especially when he has family here in Bauxite.

Jimbo Morphis

if bauxite can hire a better coach than coach hyatt it will be interesting to see who.

Hootie

If Coach Hyatt wanted to leave Booneville for Bauxite it'd be interesting to hear why.

Well I'll say this.
If he was seeking another job – I highly doubt that he was – it was not because he thought he had some rough times coming. I've been around high school football for many years and Booneville has some of the best talent in the lower grades I've seen. I believe this year's Bearcat Jr. high team was the best I've ever seen in this classification.
