Congratulation Magazine on a job well done........... ;)
Thanks Cuz.
congrats Magazine! Now time for Football! ;D
Now it is time to retire coach. :))) nice job!! Very proud
Are you implying that I am old??????
You have been in the business for awhile. I thought you might go out on a high note. But if ya wanna coach for 15 more years you can coach my boy. That would be awesome!!
Would be an honor.
Every year is a high note for me. Just love seeing the kids work so hard to reach their potential. The title was just icing on the cake.
That was some short lived gratitude. Thanks for doing your thing now move on. Has anyone told you a purple and gold coaching breaker would suit you well 43?
Ha ha.
Had not thought of that.
There is nothing purple and gold about this coach!!

Ha ha.
Had not thought of that.
Hated to bring that to light 43 but don't worry once you put on the purple and gold you will realize that is where you were ment to be.
;D
I expressed training through rattler and others. Rattler is an ambassador for the sport. Congrats, sir.
Thank you. Always used you as an example to my kids.

Thanks. One week and still relishing it.
Is this your first state championship, rattler?
Yes.
6 third places plus runner-up the past 2 years losing it at the end. So close so many times.
We have a great track tradition because we have a good coach. Finally came through. I guess having a track was the difference between top 10 team every year and number 1 in the state
Thank you.
Great hard-working kids over the years.
But yes; the track is great.
congrats rattlers, hard work always paves the way to success, check earlier posts, but I really thought this would be your year in track, you'd been hanging around to long not to come due, and kick the door in. what a great 4x400 race to win it at the end. that's how a good meet is supposed to go down. sorry the defending champs were no more of a challenge, but they got full of themself, so let that be a lesson to you, don't get full of yourself or you could wake up in 8th place! don't wake up in 8th place! Great job Magazine i knew you would do it. enjoy, you deserve it.
Yes. That race was fantastic and is what our sport is all about. Thanks. Kids already back to work.
When is the meet of champs?
Tomorrow
how is that going to play out if the baseball team is still playing?
Still enjoying but working for next year. Got to replace some fine athletes. What do you guys have returning? Here are ours:
Vault Chastain, Riddle, and Syrock all beginners at 10'
High jump Scott and Young 6'2"
Discus Simmers and Yang 121''
Shot Reed, Roark, and Zimmer 41'
Long jump Vasquez and Dority 19' as freshman this year
Triple jump Young, Dority, and Scott
Hurdles Moua 17.17/45.2
100 Scott and Vasquez 11.65
1600 Chastain, Dobson, and Young
400 Scott and Vasquez 53.5
800 Dobson and Dority 2:12
200 Scott and Vasquez 24.1
3200 Chastain, Dobson, and Young
Leaving some out but that is a good starting point.
Should be another great year if they put in the time between now and then.
Congrads to the Rattlers!
Thank you. Now for the fund-raising in such a small community.
Is it rings or watches??
Rings.
Spread the word. Got a dinner Thursday at cafeteria. $5 per person. State champs shirts for $12 per shirt. Multiple colors. All proceeds go to ring fund. Also taking donations. Thanks.
How would you go about donating if you don't live in the area and can't make the dinner Rattler?
Laura Witt of Magazine is running the campaign. You could call or send to the school and make payable to Track ring fund. Care of Laura Witt. Best I can do right now.
Here is the Facebook post:

Nice, bleu; thanks.
Back to work tomorrow. Will see where our early summer motivation is.
Katy Carter and Cory Chambers were named Logan County Athletes of the Year by local media. Congrats!
Cool. I know Katy is going to uafs. Where are the chambers going if they got a scholarship ?
At some baseball showcase today; but leaning toward Tech for football.
Cory was 4-sport All State; Katy was 3-sport All State.
So many great accomplishments. Well-deserved. Good article in Booneville Democrat.
Congrats. Are both chambers walking on or scholarship players
Walking on as of now.
I hope they can stick to it!!
I think it will be a steal for the team that gets them.
Yeah. I think they have been overlooked
