Sheridan lost by a touchdown is what I heard.  The also had 406 yards of offense w/ 350 of it on the ground.  They had 3 fumbles that hurt them in this game, defense is still giving up points.  Is sheridan that improved? Lakeside backups that bad?

Lakeside philosophy since coach McBride has taken over has been a little of the petrino philosophy... outscore teams.  Lakeside won't ever be able to touch the speed of the conference teams so it's all about loading up and scoring more than the opponent.  Has been effective

Well if you don't have a good defense it's good to be able to out score the other team

Defense did not look sharp. Offense is rebuilding at the RB position.

On the positive side, Lakeside should have one of the best O-Lines in the conference. The QB that played Friday night was a sophomore. The starting senior is recovering from emergency surgery (Non football related) but will be back for Lake Hamilton. Good receivers, good O-Line, good QB and developing RB's.

Coach McBride's philosophy early in the season is GET BETTER. Not as worried about wins and losses as long as the team is developing and ready for the conference opener. Obviously you want to win every game, but getting ready for conference is the goal. That being said, not sure that applies to the Lake Hamilton game.
