Star City second round playoff history.

Since 1999, Star City has a second round playoff record of 6-1!
In 1999, we went to PA and won in overtime 29-21.
In 2001, we won at Truman 35-21.
In 2002, we travelled to PA as a 23 point underdog going in to this game. Trailing 21-14 with 4 minutes to go in the game, we needed something big to happen, and we got it! We picked off an Adam Thrash Pass, and returned it 77 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 21. On the next PA possession, we held them to a punt. Then Star City scored the game winner with less than a minute to go, and upset PA 28-21!
The following year, Polaski Oak Grove came to Star City, and what a game this one turned out to be! We trailed 14-6 going in to the 4th quarter, but would score twice to take an 18-14 lead! However, the Hornets weren't done yet! On 2nd and 8 wit 2 minutes to go, they would complete a 62 yard screen pass all the way down to the Star City 3 yardline! However, the Bulldog defense would keep the Hornets out of the in-zone with a goalline Stand with 56 seconds to go and would survive 18-14!
In 2009, we travelled to Bald Knob, but would fall 20-9.
The following year, we won at home over Truman 39-21!
Last year, we travelled to Gosnell. We trailed 23-14 in the 4th quarter, but we scored twice, then had a goalline stand and would win 28-23!
