Nashville can and will stop the Wing T. Stuttgart can't stop any offense by the sounds of it

If PG was healthy they would have rang up 50 on you.... You can't stop the Wing T.  ;D
I honestly dont know the answer to what im about to ask, so it's not a loaded question. But when was the last time anybody hung 50 on Nashville?
the better question would be when was the last time PG hung 50 on anyone.....I think it was lavaca last year....closest they've come to puttin up 50 this year is on berryville (a team that won 2 games this year) PG put like 40 something on them. Feel free to look it up, im not going to. Plain and simple a fully healthy PG team doesn't hang 50 on the scrappers, definitely not at scrapper stadium.

Well once pg reaches 35 points on any team they starting putting third stringers other wise they probally could put 50 on some teams!

Some teams believe in running up the score like it proves something and others dont

scrapiron51

I believe the game 2 years ago is a huge factor. I think it will give the Scrappers extra motivation to get up for a game otherwise they might not as much. I think Nashville still has a burning fire to beat PG. Nashville does not get beat very much, but when we do we remember it.

Coach Abshier is the king of not running up the score.... 35-0 last year in 1st qtr against Berryville and win 35-12.... 35-0 against Gentry early in 2nd qtr last year and wins 35-14.... 42-0 and with TDs on all first 6 possessions against West Fork this year and win 42-0... Its high school football. Only classless coaches run up the score on people in high school. Koobird hit it perfectly. And to me hitting 60 plus in a mercy rule win just seems impossible without running up the score.

beach bum

Also, It is probably hard to find a team that averages more time in between plays than PG. Sometimes I would watch their games thinking come on get the ball snapped. Its very old school. The PG posters no exactly what I am talking about. Abshier rotates WRs and sends the play in with them. Sometimes its like he is reading a book to them.... And he likes to change his mind a lot on the play  ;D

Tigerdad2

Abshier does way more with less
Dawson does less with D1 and 2 talent

Yep 3 state championships, Dawson can't get it done

90-13

The other years:

2008- quarterfinals - Conference Champs
2009- quarterfinals - Conference Champs
2012- quarterfinals - Co Conference Champs
2013- 1st round
2014- TBD but so far 9-1 - Conference Champs

Division 1 Players- 2 (One is still playing)

Scrap_Train

All that has been talked about is how Nashville can't stop PG, but can PG stop Nashville?

Tigerdad2

I do know the 2012 Nashville team had 9 kids with D 2 or D1 offers, it was in the paper, weather they make it in college or choose not to go, they're that caliber athlete. PG has 190lb lineman and RB and WR who run 4.9 and 5.0 40's
My whole point to the Nashville's fans is, you have way better athletes you should win every time but the series is tied 2-2
Who do you blame coaches or kids

Kids....coaches records speak for themselves. Not sure what paper you looked at. The tied series will be broken Friday! We welcome you to Nashville, hope it's a safe trip for you and an injury free game.

The 2012 team had 0 division 1 football players. Pettway was a sophomore at that time with no offers. There were 5 players that signed with a D2 school

RB- Jakaree Gaines - Arkansas Tech
WR- Donyell King - Arkansas Tech
WR- Tesean Green - Southern Arkansas
WR- LaVonte Thomas- Ouachita
OL- Cam Alexander - Ouachita

So the fastest 40 time for the 2012 PG tigers was 4.9?? And the biggest players on that team were 190 lbs?

How about that Tiger101? Is that accurate?

cuckoobird

Too bad the kids couldn't just quit for a couple of years because there was no talent

hawgfan15

Once again this is 2014. We will see what we can do with all this talent Friday night.

intruder

I think the biggest thing missing over the last couple of years is leadership from the srs. I believe that we have it now.

2012 matters to guys on message boards who've never played a down of football in their life. Ask a player... I did.

Nashville has more talent blah, blah, blah... talked to Coach Abshier, he told me that despite what Nashville's Keyboard Warriors are saying they are going to get on the bus, make the trip and see what happens.

If Nashville is better, they'll prove it. If not we'll get to hear more excuses about how you ran out of time, fumbled a snap or the refs jobbed you. By my record keeping Nashville has never actually lost a game... in anything.

Seriously, none of you will have an outcome on the game. NONE of you... unless you are putting on the pads Friday have anything to thump your chests about.

It's going to be a great night for football, if your team wins be happy. If not, shake the hand of your opponent wish them well and move on.

~WPS~

Why would you bother a coach with what's being said on a message board?

Since its 2014 and Ft Lake got 32 against a weak Nashville defense this year then Ft Lake  got spanked by Dardanelle this year it makes me think its going to be an easy PG win... 42-19  ;D

Maybe Dawson has learned to throw it to the kid 6 inches taller than the PG defensive backs... It took him 40 minutes last time these 2 played. Im sure Nashville has a kid like that. They do every year.
