Lost 4 to injury Friday night and down to just 12.

Each team in their conference will get a 13-0 victory.

This is at least the second year in a row that Rose Bud has forfeited a game.

That's tough.

Any ideas on how to get athletes to turn out for football?

start winning
Lot more than that to the situation. Winning helps, yes, but that first requires talent, desire and work ethics during two-a-days etc. Nothing happens in just one year. Numbers under 25 or so are very harmful to getting a good team on the field. Any injury or two or only having one or two good players will hurt the desire of the other few. 3A ball requires at least 30-35 out to offset things. Usually only 2A classification schools have 25-30 at season's start, mainly due to small town population and such. Hope Rose Bud turns it around next year. The coaches hate this as much as fans or the administration.. Maybe basketball will be kinder this year!

ECS will probably in the same situation next year. Football is tough on small schools.

Is ECS using that strategy? Doesn't seem to be working
maybe not this year but the winning definitely started a flow of football athletes from the lower grades that will eventually make it to varsity

Yea isn't that the point?? They were an exciting team to watch last year. Shouldn't they have more than 14 players?
