From what I gather some won't get to see it 🙄
I have heard 2 games a night-don't know that-if so, shouldn't be a big problem. starts on Saturday and ends on Saturday. probably 4 games on Saturday. 3d place and finals.

still don't understand why they didn't just put them back in the hat lol.
Unless they have a fire marshall who is too full of himself, I don't think getting in will be an issue. If 2 games a nite. Last Saturday could get really crowded with finals.

How is 2 games a night going to work? In recent years I know they've started at like 4 and would end somewhere that night around 9:30-10. How will it be done in time?

and this may be a really easy answer and I'm just not following.
District at emerson for one of them
I heard from a FAN- would start on Saturday and end on Saturday, play every nite except sunday with last Saturday championship games and 3d place games, if they even play for 3d-so that last Saturday would be 4 games------go figure, I don't know just heerd it from a fan-timbo and repeating it.

I think the 1a-5 started on Saturday and ended on Saturday last year when Nemo Vista hosted it...but they also played a bunch of games that first Saturday too...
Not sure of how their district works, but here's a scenario that would show 4 games on 1st Saturday, then 2 games each week night finishing up with possible 4 games on 2nd Saturday. Again, this is only hypothetical.
1st Saturday:
#8 v #9 Girls
#8 v #9 Boys
#6 v #7 Girls
#6 v #7 Boys
Monday:
#8/#9 Winner v #5 Girls
#8/#9 Winner v #5 Boys
Tuesday:
#8/#9/#5 Winner v #4 Girls
#8/#9/#5 Winner v #4 Boys
Wednesday:
#6/#7 Winner v #3 Girls
#6/#7 Winner v #3 Boys
Thursday:
#8/#9/#5/#4 Winner v #1 Girls - Semi Final
#8/#9/#5/#4 Winner v #1 Boys - Semi Final
Friday:
#6/#7/#3 Winner v #2 Girls - Semi Final
#6/#7/#3 Winner v #2 Boys - Semi Final
2nd Saturday:
Girls 3rd place
Boys 3rd place
Girls Final
Boys Final
Clear as Mud ???

3 Dollar appreciate your effort. I look forward to the district at timbo. Should be a great tournament-I give the Timbo boys a slight edge over concord/mve. Sr girls is a tossup 5 teams -Wonderview-MVE-Concord-Westside-Rural Special. And the 3 of those 5 girls teams that don't receive a first round bye--2 could possibly get upset by Sacred Heart or Shirley in the first round. Should be lots of fun.
1A-6 is at Brinkley playing Monday Tuesday Thursday Saturday
I don't understand why ICC gets home court advantage during the state tournament.

They were the only one to bid on it, not sure what is so hard to understand?
Cause they won the bid 😂😂

The New School should have bid and hosted in Bud Walton. That would have been sweet!

would've been a quiet arena, not a good idea.
How do the regional matchups work? I know 1A-2 and 1A-3 play each other and I heard 1A-7 and 1A-8 play each other. What about the others. Sorry I am just figuring all this logistical stuff out.

Two solid boys teams will miss out on regionals. That's rough.
Anybody have 9th graders that will move up and contribute in the post season?

IMO #23 from Sacred Heart's jr. girls team was the best jr girls player in the district. Rural has a jr girls player that started last year as an eighth grader, she is good and will probably get some minutes. MVE sr girls go 8/9 deep on most games so the freshmen moving up probably won't play a whole lot. On the boys side Westside has a big and tall post that is a big mismatch in the jr games. If he is a freshmen he will contribute.

Is 23 a shooter? I rememeber they had one against WV that didn't seem like she could miss

She can shoot threes, and drive and score. Her big weakness from what I can tell is that she doesn't go left very well, but she is tall and quick.
Has anyone seen a bracket for 1A-5 senior boys and girls? should be a great district tournament. A good girls team will be left out

23 is only an 8th grader
I wondered if she might be. Will she be moving up next year?
