I might have missed it in one of the other forums, but why are the playing Smackover on Saturday?

You can play Mountainburg week 5 and Union Christian week 8 to fill the two open dates. I am sure those two schools would love adding Junction City

Smackover is playing at UAPB. I don't have a time yet though.

With only three home games, it would be nice to see us play another home game. I know it's not our district or coaches fault, as the second open date is due to Hampton canceling their season at the last minute if finalizing schedules.   Sucks to lose another home game during our last season in 2A.

Knowing we will be young this year you would think some of the 2a would be wanting us if they could make it happen. Got to love it when everyone outside throws out teams we should play. I think playing Smackover and Haynesville is stepping up to the plate non conference wise. Would love to see us pick up another game but why don't the smart guys with all the great suggestions worry about your teams picking up some harder non conference play. Life must suck for some guys that have no more of a life than to sit around and hope for JC to fall. I hope and pray our young guys can grow up quickly and keep the haters doing what they do.

well considering this will be the 12th straight year that i pick Sparkman to walk away with the AA title. . i will have to go with the Raiders to pull it out late. . that's if JC and Sparkman can work out the details and get the game scheduled of course. .

Red River 2-A (Coushatta, La.) and Winnfield 3-A both have open dates that match up with J.C. Would be a good matchup, those two are usually average teams, but recently Winnfield has had some good teams.
