I wonder what team was ranked lowest in Hooten's preseason poll and went on to win a state championship? Some years they get it pretty close and it seems some they miss the boat. I don't see any no brainers this year.

Last year it was the same way in 4a. It was between warren, booneville, Arkadelphia, and valley view from the beginning IMO. And booneville won.  This year it's wide open again.

Back in 09 I don't think they had Bald Knob in the top 20 and look at what Bald Knob did. Went 10-0 and won the conference and went to the semis and lost to Shiloh. Nobody saw that coming including Bald Knob.
