Well last week was a crappy week not because of anything to do with football but for other reasons. With that said the football didn't go well either. Went 2-2 on picks brings the season total to 26-13. On with the picks, I guess.

MIDLAND @ WALNUT RIDGE
Midland got their first win, congrats again guys, over Rector 30-22. Walnut Ridge fell to Marked Tree 35-14. Midland has shown they have the heart and are building a program, need some numbers though. Walnut Ridge has struggled this year but a win here keeps them in the playoff hunt and likewise with Midland. This should be a tight game. Ill take the Bobcats at home.
WALNUT RIDGE 34 MIDLAND 28

RECTOR @ CROSS COUNTY
Rector lost a tough one to Midland 30-22. Cross County showed they are for real and a real threat to take the conference this year. Davis will run wild and Cross County should really be able to do what they want. Rector will play hard though but it wont be enough this week. T-Birds roll.
CROSS COUNTY 48 RECTOR 0

EARLE @ EPC
Earle just keeps on rolling beating Salem last week 46-8. EPC got a wake up call losing Cross County 36-8. If Earle wins it more than likely sets up a battle with CC for the conference crown in the last game. EPC needs to win to keep any hopes alive of a 2 seed. Its senior night in Lepanto. It think the Bulldogs are playing better right now though.
EARLE 34 EPC 24.

GAME OF THE WEEK
MARKED TREE @ SALEM
Marked Tree cruised past Walnut Ridge last week 35-14. Salem ran in to the buzzsaw that is Earle 46-8. Indians have a new QB and it seems to be working for them. a lot of people writing off the Hounds but these 2 seem to play each other tough. I think marked Tree gets their act together on the road in this one and pull it out.

MARKED TREE 30 SALEM 28

CONFERENCE STANDINGS
CROSS COUNTY 5-2 (4-0)  TBP 52
EARLE               5-2 (4-0)  TBP 52
EPC                   6-1 (3-1)  TBP 39
MARKED TREE    4-3 (2-2)  TBP 26
WALNUT RIDGE  1-6 (1-3)  TBP 13
SALEM               1-6 (1-3)  TBP 13
MIDLAND           1-6 (1-3)  TBP 8
RECTOR             0-6 (0-4)  TBP 0

HAD TO MODIFY THE TBP. I WAS COUNTING 14 FOR MAX WIN WHEN IT IS ONLY 13.

Yea right! Scales looked full throttle to me full game, he'll be 100% against Earle...

mtindian42

WOW...we got game of the week... I thought for sure that would have been y'all and Earle.

Dogg

If EPC had beaten CC, Earle and EPC would have been his game of the week.
Don't pick us to win, you're the mighty EPC!

Rolled his ankle second offensive series. Played his butt off and limped most of the night. Some kids play through the pain with heart. But he will play Friday for sure

Yeah if we had of beaten CC it sure would have been. Why wouldn't I pick you guys to win. Do I want Earle to win, nope, I hope EPC pulls it out. Gonna have to play better than last week for sure.
Captain obvious sheesh

Bdub I believe Epc beats Earle Friday. Can't we them losing 2 in a row at home. I agree with the Cc score. But I believe MT beats Salem 32-14 and the Ridge beats Midland 36-12.

bdubyab60

You guys were supposed to catch the TBP mess up. Got it corrected now.

Hard to get through a bad sprain in one week. Kid's a player for sure, hope he's well. That might explain that loss last week a little bit..........
