Thanks! They sure look like they could. They return many of their jumpers where they could clean up again.
Girls are done!
Lafayette County had 5 slots qualify for state at the first meet. Good start to the season
Braiden Jenkins won mile in 5:25 and 2 mile in 12:04at Lonoke yesterday. He cruised to both victories
Earle girls just won the 4X100 meter relay with all 9th graders, Wow!
Earle boys take 4X100 meter relay
Quitman girls won 4x400 and 4x800 meter relays and had enough runners place in enough other events to win the team championship. I believe that makes the first three state championships for Quitman as a school, and all three in one year (Girls Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Girls Track)
Parkers Chapel looks to be becoming a potential force in track. Won state in the 400 and 300IH and was runner up in the 4x400 and the 4x800. Only lose one senior to graduation and have a 9th grader that could be faster than him next season. If they can up their overall participation they could be a contender. Finished 7th with 36 points Tuesday.
