HA is very young and this is what happens when small schools are moved up and run out of talent.  They'll be lucky to make the playoffs.  Starting center back was out sick, other centerback went out injured during the game and starting winger went out with an ankle injury.  Robinson still wins but score probably looks more respectable.

Quote from: VBDad on March 28, 2024, 07:42:46 pmWhile it won't be official for probably a few weeks, do not be surprised if a well known 3A coach who was not on the bench this past season gets back into coaching.....but not at a 3A school.

I don't know if it's official but a lot of people know. You can spill the beans

Quote from: WarriorFan on March 28, 2024, 01:15:16 pmIf these charter schools can control their enrollment, then they are private schools in my mind. So a charter school can only have x amount of students, they can basically pick and choose who they want. That makes them a private.  Public schools cant do this.

Public schools can also be charter schools tho...

Pulaski Academy's live streaming service: the school has fully committed to streaming both its girls and boys soccer team's games which is amazing to see!

@Pulaski Academy

PA Girls 2 - LRCA Girls 0
PA Boys 1 - LRCA Boys 2

In regards to the boys game I have never witnessed quite a 2nd half like this one, especially in regards to the last 10 minutes. PA hits the bar with a chance to make the game 2-1 in a one-on-one situation. LRCA's keeper gets a yellow card for showboating and time wasting, where the ball should be given back to PA as an indirect free kick with a backup keeper forced into the game to deal with it from close range. BUT the ball is given right back to LRCA who kicks the ball directly out so their starting keeper can come back in. PA then drives into the box and gets a penalty awarded when one of their players getting brought down. PA misses the penalty, with an excellent save from LRCA's starting keeper who is back in the game, and remain 2-0 down. With 3 minutes to go, PA finally gets a goal back from a direct throw in set piece. With 27 seconds left on the clock, they have a final throw in where the entire team rushes up the field and clusters the box, only to directly hit the post again from close range and have LRCA clearly head the ball out for a corner. Bizarrely, the ref signals for a goal kick and PA end up losing the game 2-1, rather than getting one final chance. Credit to LRCA, they played a good game, were very well organized defensively, and clinically finished their two counter attacks to go 2-0 up. However, this feels like a result more responsible of PA failing to capitalize on their chances than LRCA fully outclassing their opponents. The game could have easily ended 3 or 4 to 2 in PA's favor. Not to mention the injuries PA faced today throughout the game certainly impacted this as well: their key starting center back going down early in the 1st half left them unorganized at the back, and  losing two more starters for lengthy periods in the game before they could come back in certainly affected the result. The rematch between these two at LRCA's home field is a must watch game. It will inevitably decide the 5A Central title (I don't see any other teams in this conference at the same level as these two teams barring Vilonia snagging a surprise result).
