Start of the 4th.  This isn't a game between Mineral and Norphlet anymore.  Norphlet head coach tossed and 75 yards in penalties against Norphlet in one drive.  Things are being thrown on the field and it is getting ugly.  Well, hopefully every game won't go this way.  It wasn't even that bad in Rison last year but it was pretty bad.

Ugly game.  Norphlet has alot to work on but it was their first game.  Mineral is very good from what I hear...I wasn't at the game.  Norphlet had numerous penalties called mostly for procedure.  I heard from 2 different people at the game that they were bogus but I have no idea.  Ugly game for Norphlet with many turnovers and penalties.  It's the first one so that was somewhat expected. 

I am from Norphlet and I know the people well.  If it got that bad there was a very good reason.  Not to take anything away from MS because from what I hear they are big and just wore Norphlet out.  However, I think there was probably a serious issue as far as officiating.  Glad these two teams finally got to play each other, sounded like a great game for a half at least.  GL to MS.  Norphlet has some issues to iron out.
