After 11 weeks here's how I have it.
1.  Charleston (10-0)
2.  Prescott (11-0)
3.  Smackover (10-1)
4.  Booneville (9-2)
5.  McGehee (8-3)
6.  Episcopal Collegiate (10-1)
7.  Lamar (9-2)
8.  Harding Academy (9-2)
9.  Hoxie (10-1)
10. Mayflower (8-3)
Honorable Mentions:  West Fork, Osceola, Fordyce, Fouke, Mountain View
Loser of Booneville and Prescott game will probably be fourth next week until the winner plays Hoxie and McGehee winner in the next round.
Let the bashing begin!

Gonna be a fun week.

I can't wait for the Mayflower@ HA Game!

Going to be another barn burner for sure! Definitely the most exciting game this week. Going to be a lot of hard hitting in Prescott Friday night too.

Good ole' 3A playoff football!

just beacuse a team lasts longer than booneville or prescott doesn't make them better.

WPWells

Snoopy, if Lamar beats Smackover where do they go?

Sick Dog

Lamar won't beat Smackover. Those top 5 will be there til the end and should be. Regardless of what happens Snoopy has this pole correct. Maybe Booneville and Prescott switch with a Booneville win but if PRESCOTT wins this one then lookout Charleston.

adaptedtigerfan

Nah..  Charleston defense is better than Booneville's

snoopy22

OLDSCHOOL82

You are correct adapted.  We played flawlessly and still couldn't hang with chuck.

Sick Dog

If Lamar beats Smackover that will be a fluke

adaptedtigerfan

Sinces sarcasm in OLDSCHOOL's last post.

I honestly don't think Lamar has a chance in this game. IMO, Smackover is the best team in 3A

OLDSCHOOL82

Work on your spelling adapted!  Grandpa,  everyone has a chance after the first round.

WPWells

Glad you've seen Charleston and Booneville to be able to make that statement, Grandpa

adaptedtigerfan

Lol gotcha OLDSCHOOL.   How did I miss that?

If the game is as close as it should be, yes. If Prescott wins by 2 TDs or more you could argue that Booneville has lost to the three good teams they have played by wide margins and should drop.
Lamar, Mcgehee, ECS , Mayflower/HA need to beat one of the top 4 to be considered in that group though. So far none have done that.

I said IMO. My opinion could be completely wrong that's just what I think. I thought this was a website to post your opinions but I guess I was wrong.

12th man should note "IMO". Sometimes 12th man has opinions, not always correct.

WPWells

I understand, but that's kinda a bold statement considering that Charleston was the state champion last year and haven't even been tested this year

So a win over a 10-1 Hoxie team doesn't put McGehee in that group?

I don't think so. Same as whoever wins between Mayflower/HA. But that gives you the chance to beat one of the top 4 (3 after this weekend after Bonneville/Prescott)

bigcat72

If Lamar somehow accidentally beats Smackover, where would that put them? I know from reading the posts that it would take an act of God but what if?

#1 because smackover is better than everyone.

snoopy22

They would move up, not sure exact spot because it will depend on what happens in other games.

The good ole what if questions.. Especially on a top 10 poll.... LOL

I admit, we played one bad game, but we're still here, hanging around.  We just throttled a top 5 team according to this poll.  Next up, we attempt to silence the doubters once again by taking one from Booneville at their place.  Go Mustangs!
