5A Playoff Scenarios (as of Oct 26)

Class 5A
5A-West
   Maumelle is the 1 seed and outright conference champion with a win either this week (Farmington) or next week (LR Christian). Four teams (Harrison, LR Christian, Greenbrier and Vilonia) are at 3-2 and defending state champion Morrilton is 2-3. Need to let next week shake out before any viable scenarios make sense.

5A-East
   Batesville is the 1 seed with a win either Friday (Greene Co. Tech) or Week 10 (Valley View). Wynne and Nettleton will play for the 2 and 3 seeds in Week 10. Forrest City (3-2) has the inside track for the 4 seed, but will have to beat Blytheville (2-3) for it in Week 10.

5A-South
   Five teams have winning conference records right now. Hot Springs, Watson Chapel and Camden Fairview are 4-1 while White Hall and HS Lakeside are 3-2. We need another week to sort through any likely scenarios here, but 4 of these 5 will be your playoff participants (thanks Capt. Obvious).

5A-Central
   Sylvan Hills (5-0, Beebe) and Pulaski Academy (5-0, LR Fair) are a game closer to a Week 10 showdown for the top 2 seeds. LR McClellan and Beebe are both 3-2 while Jacksonville is 2-3. If McClellan wins out, then the Lions will be the 3 seed thanks to its win over Beebe.

East- If FC wins out and Wynne beats Nettleton, then you have a three way tie for 2. So I say its still to early to say that FC is out of the 2-3 seed. IF FC beats Wynne by more that 4 and Wynne beats Nettle more then for then FC is 2 wynne is 3 and nettle is 4.....
