Boys beat Charleston tonight in their 3rd game of the Charleston tournament.

Girls beat Clarksville in their third game for a double Alma win at Charleston

AT

Tonight in their home opener, the girls have a rematch against Clarksville just two days after playing them in the Charleston tournament. The boys also opened up tonight against Clarksville.

The boys lost a heartbreaker while the girls won again.

Sounds like Alma has some good talent coming up

AT

9th grade boys lost a close one to a solid Pottsville team 30-34. Still looking for a girls score.

Congrats to Alma Girls on the W

Alma boys pull off a big win in OT! 48-44! Came down to free throws and an offensive rebound off the free throws and put back to win it!

Great night for the junior Airedales and Airedalettes!

Congrats on the wins!!

AT

Both Alma teams are playing at Kimmons tonight. Alma boys and Kimmons boys have developed a rivalry over the past few years and last year's regional championship amped that up. It's hard to really say that since you replace everyone in junior high every year, but the kids will know still.

AT

Alma girls go 4-0 before Christmas break in conference! 3 of them on the road and finished it tonight with a 44-32 win. Big time for the Jr. Airedalettes.

It's looking like Van Buren-Greenwood-Alma games will decide the top three seeds.

AT

Alma boys lose to Kimmons 43-70 tonight. Big time win for Kimmons. Hopefully our boys are able to rebound (not literally) over the break and after.

AT

In their first game back from break, both junior high teams drop their opener at the Van Buren Tournament to Fayetteville-White.

AT

Tonight, on the road at Siloam Springs (Van Buren tournament will continue tomorrow), the boys and girls split with Siloam Springs. The boys won and the girls lost.

AT

Alma teams are swept tonight in conference action vs. Van Buren at home.

AT

Alma recovers from the sweep on Monday and comes out on the good end of a sweep tonight against Trinity Christian at home! Great job junior Airedales and Airedalettes!

AT

Alma boys and girls had a road trip this week. They went to Farmington on Monday for a non conference game and Greenwood last night to round up the first round of conference games.

The girls lost both of them to two solid programs while the boys got two big time wins!

AT

Alma Jr. Boys and Jr. Girls swept Chaffin at home to start the 2nd round of games in the conference.

AT

Alma sweeps Ramsey at home tonight. Both teams right on track to grab a bid for regionals.

AT

Both Alma teams go on the road to Darby and pull out wins for another sweep in conference play.

AT

Wow! What a night to be an Airedale! Kimmons has always been our big RVC rival along with Van Buren.

Alma's 8th grade/9th grade girls and boys swept Kimmons tonight. All were close games.

The 9th grade girls won by 4, giving them the sweep for the season against Kimmons.

Alma's 9th grade boys had a very impressive result, as they beat Kimmons 41-30 tonight (the score doesn't indicate how close it was because of free throws at the end. It was a 3 point game with 50 seconds left)

What is crazy about it is that Kimmons beat Alma by 27 points earlier in the season at Kimmons.

Coach Corder, Coach Folkerts, and the kids have shown great improvement as that was their 7th straight win and eight out of their last nine.

Girls are doing some big things too.

Both teams look forward to very difficult challenges in Van Buren a week from now.

AT

Both teams lost hard fought battles against Van Buren tonight. Alma boys showing tons of improvement still by trimming their margin of loss by a ton with this one being on the road.

The girls also fought hard.

AT

Boys won big over Trinity last night on the road, but the girls were upset by one point. It doesn't really hurt the girls in terms of seeding as they are basically locked into the 3 seed for regionals anyway with one game left.

I think Alma's boys are locked into the 3 seed, too, as the only way they could tie Kimmons is with a Kimmons loss and an Alma win, but I think Kimmons holds the tiebreaker.

NEA Razorback olfan

Thanks for the updates, you do an excellent job of keeping up with your team!!
Good luck in District!!
