Looks like this is shaping up to be a big year for coaching changes. A lot of dominos could start falling.

Corning will be a very tough job. Jr high has been way down and the town population is either dropping or staying stagnant.

The posting on the AAA website says that they would prefer a teacher/coach certified in one of the 4 core areas.  There are plenty of great coaches out there that teach in core areas, but that makes it tough to split time between the classroom and coaching when you're in a core area vs. a coach that does P.E. or some other non-core class.

Osceola job is open per the Osceola Times

Mineral Springs should bring in some good apps.  I realize Rick Jones may not apply but it is still a great small town job in a football crazy town.

Football crazy town?  How long since you attended a game in MS?  For at least the last 5 visits, the Outlaws have brought more fans to MS than the home crowd could muster.  MS is only "football crazy" when they are winning, which hasn't been happening lately.

Pat Swilling

No I havent been to a MS game in about 10 years.  Just remember great things about community/school.  Tough being 6 miles down road from Nashville.

Low numbers of fans isn't a great sign of community support.  I wish that community could restore that support.  They most definitely have the talent to put a good 2A product on the field.

Would think a school with turf in 2a could pay some fans to come watch or something crazy to drum up support
