That's a good question. Especially since they beat Wonderview.  I just looked on Max Preps and they are 19-8.  Losses to Wonderview, Scranton, Pottsville, Vilonia, Rose Bud, and twice to Quitman.  Arguably those are some bigger schools, but (to play Devil's Advocate) 8 losses would be a lot for a top 5 team.

That is precisely my point feathers. Nemo has swept mv and split with wv. So in my option just because they have 8 loses they still should be ahead of some on the list because of the schedule they have played and who they have beaten.

Y'all are just expecting too much from the state paper. Do you know how difficult and time consuming it would be for the paper to call and talk to people who know about 1a basketball? id put nemo girls in over Kirbys. They have their moments but I doubt they make final four. May have trouble winning district

might just need to play and then see who is ranked.    5 regions and 2 of the boys regions are super weak. problem is the state bracket already has certain ones matched up  2d game and 2 best boys teams could be playing each other.   think aaa is just too lazy to seed state games.

Kirby/County line winner play Guy/Shirley  play in second round. And I'm not a fan of that. I know you have to beat the best teams to win. Obviously that's not the problem I have. I don't think you should have 4 teams that could make it hot springs with a couple of good games play in the 2nd round. That's for 1seeds who deserve it to play a still lesser opponent.(in seeding atleast) but no. You have a possible state championship game match up before the big games Saturday? I think 4 regions and 16 teams is still do-able. But what do I know lol

I mean, exactly. It's all about who you play during the season to get better win or lose and Kirby or Bay is not afraid to do that and that's why I have extreme respect for Kirby, and coach smith. That is what hurt Guy last year and what is going to do the same to them again this year.
