How does all of this combined conference idea work in the Jr High ranks?

beach bum

From my understanding the conferences are exactly the same in JH for combined conferences. I imagine in the combined NWA league with 10 teams they will just play each other once in JH for 9 conference games instead of a home and home 18 game slate. Then they will be reseeded for their conference tournaments in their true conference. For example, Prairie Grove will go to the 1-4A tournament and Greenland would go to the 1-3A tournament after voting by the coaches as to what seed the will get in the district tournament. Someone may correct me on this, but I think this is how it will work.

How did it finish this year?

I don't have the records but I think the top 3 are-

1.  Shiloh
2.  Huntsville
3.  Berryville

I think these are the top 3 as of late last week....  I have seen everybody in conference play except Prairie Grove and Pea Ridge.  Seems to be a very competitive group...

So was this worth it? Did the 3A schools even compete?

On the junior high level the teams seemed to be competitive.

I was told Shiloh, Huntsville, and Elkins tied for 1st. I guess it's not a huge deal in Jr High as far as all this goes but when looking at the Sr High records the 3A schools are getting crushed. Stupid idea. Hope it doesn't last long
