We had our Red/White games today...first game is Friday against Hughes.

Clarendon Sr boys defeated Hughes last night 49-73. Clarendon Sr girls narrowly lost by 2. Jr boys won also.

Clarendon plays their first conference game tonight against Palestine-Wheatley then faces Kipp-Delta tomorrow for the DeWitt tournament championship.

Still making some mistakes as they get a few games under their belt but yes, they are looking good...only 5 games so far.  We play Stuttgart Monday.  How is England looking? I don't recall how many they graduated.

England lost the starting point guard off last years team, but gaim a St. post player and a undefeated Jr. High class.  We are starting to gel as a team, and the players are learning their roles.  We are 4-2 with loses to 5A Vilonia and 7A. Cabot .   We will be a contender for the 2A title by the end of the year.

Playing a really good Riverview team helped them and they are in the Pine Bluff tourny again this year so hopefully they will be ready to make a run for state.  We only graduated 2 non starters and gained a conference runner up Jr high team.  They just have to get the bugs worked out and start jelling better.

Clarendon defeated Brinkley tonight 55-35 to bring them to 7-0/2-0.  And yea Coach Hudson is great.  Apparently there were only 2 coaches in the DeWitt tournament that didn't get a tech and he was one of them

Brian y'alls girls are always good...they aren't as good as last year's team but will get there...I was glad to see y'all have better numbers than last year on the boys teams, must be doing something right :-)
