The sad thing is that more than likely it wouldn't matter if Nashville had won by 1 point or 1 touchdown, someone would still be complaining about how Warren should have won.  but guess what they didn't so everyone needs to let it go, and congratulate the Nashville players. they played a great game and deserved the win!!!!!

ACTUALLY, the play stands as called. Nashville should have no reason not to take pride in their trophy. They won the game. It was called and they won. They were named the winners of the game. Hey, I was there.  I am not a Warren fan and I am not a Nashville fan.  I had a fine view of the Wright kid when he ran for the endzone.  Yes, the ball broke the plain, but apparantley, the referee did not see the play clearly.  When the play was showed on the big screen, you could clearly see that the ball broke the plain and that he had control of the ball when doing so.  It's just one of those calls that went Nashville's way.  Yes, you guys are the true champions, but Nashville will be on paper as the champs.  This game hurt me to because I hate to see kids get cheated like they did Saturday night.  If I was on Nashville's team, I would be glad to be labeled the champs, but deep in my heart, it would eat at me the rest of my life knowing that the opponent (Warren) really won the game.  Anyway, I know it hurt, but those things happen in sports.

To all the whiners saying they got cheated... I was there... only reason we (Nashville) fell silent on that 2 pt. conversion was to see the replay as to where it was good or not, because going by the way it looked... it was too close to call... with my mom standing right beside me... we looked up at the jumbotron right as the Warren player supposedly crossed the plain, it was a 1/2 yard short with the players knee touching the turf before he crossed the plain.. on another note... the ball popped out and Nashville recovered it...

but to the loyal fans of both Nashville and Warren, my god it was loud at WMS... and im freaking hoarse... Congrats to my Scrappers but also, congrats on Warren for giving us our first real test of the season...   may we meet again

boy i tell ya... i HAD respect for alot of the posters till tonight... the freaking refs are right there... how are you gonna dispute what THEY saw and called not 3-5 yds. in front of them... in a well lit stadium, on what was the game deciding play... I think I would be paying attention to any kind of "break of plane" play that "robbed" Warren.. I havent even been on here two hours and already im sick of the whining...

HE WAS ACROSS BY AT LEAST TWO FEET AND HE DOVE FROM THE ONE HIS KNEE WAS NEVER CLOSE TO BEING DOWN.  ALSO THE TOUCHDOWN THAT GOT CALLED BACK WHICH THEN IT WOULD OF NEVER WENT TO OVERTIME, THE COACHES ARE STILL TRYING TO SEE WHICH LINEMAN WAS DOWNFIELD.  THE WARREN LINEMAN ARE TAUGHT WHEN BALL IS THROWN GO TO IT ALL FIVE LINEMAN WERE AT THE LINE WHEN THE BALL WAS THROWN.

After seeing the still photo, do you retract your statement about "he was across by at least two feet".  He was down at about the 1.5 yard line and stretching.  Did the ball cross the line before his body was down?  Not likely, the lower half of the body hits before the upper half.  Very close.

Great effort, gutsy call.  Penalties stopped both teams.

One thing is for sure, there is nothing wrong with losing, but to lose the way Warren lost is a disgrace.  On the big screen, it clearly showed Jarious getting into the endzone.

The ref is part of the game, and I'm sure that this isn't the only bad call in that game. Nashville is the Champion, but I think the argument about the last play is now over.
