Just finished reading this story of Ara Parsaghean's first year at Notre Dame written by Sherwood native Jim Dent.  Really enjoyed it, particularly the Arkansas connection.  They year was 1964 and Alabama, Notre Dame and Arkansas all claimed a share of the National Championship. Great stories of individual players and their journeys to Notre Dame, as well as their struggles under the previous coaches.

Highly recommend it.
