What is it with so many flags being thrown in state title games? Watching 6A game and seems like every other play there is a flag. You can't expect these kids to go through regular season with games being officiated one way then get to LR and it's done totally different.

Let the kids play. Nobody is watching to see the refs. It's the players we wanna see. It's not like it is one sided or anything

Translation : "How dare those refs..... They should just keep the flags in their pockets even when there is a penalty. Let the kids decide it even if the player did something against a rule in the game of football"

How dare you complain mere mortal? While you stand in the presence of striped Gods! Lol!

If it a penalty per the rulebook, then it should be called. The game should be won inside the guidelines of the rulebook and within the officiating of the game. kids are human and they will put the limits of the game rules just as as humans dol in day to day activities.

Bulldogfan101

That's correct and it should be applied at every game.

Fans may not be there to see the refs etc etc....But the refs are screwed either way...they call it by the book, fans are mad, they let stuff go that they shouldn't then the fans are mad 🤷 And noone just gets beat anymore the refs screwed them out of the win, even if they got Mercy ruled lol

I agree with that! Just like law enforcement officers. Sometimes they can't win no matter what! They can do everything possible and in the end still be criticized.

Maybe....just maybe...that the title games have the best crews in the state (they are supposed to be anyway) and that they actually know the rules and call the game by the rules.  Maybe during the season these teams and coaches see inferior crews all year that can barely cover the field much less see the action well enough to call it correctly.  They become spoiled.  I saw Greenwood get called for holding at least 7 times today. And they were correct calls. Maybe that's an advantage some of these teams have had all year, they get away with tackling on offense. Hmmm.....

Good point trying to be fair and equal is easier said than done.

That was part of my point. Don't call it one way in week 5 then another way at state
