I was wondering what people thought about the difference between very good offenses and very good defenses or the balance of the two.  The numbers below also take into account the 2nd and 3rd squads playing in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters (for instance PA and GOBS as an example) but still reflects on how good a team is overall for this season.

Below are the top six teams with Points For from most to least.  Great offenses can help win games.
1. Pulaski Academy 9-1
    PF 476  PA 188  7 Win streak
2. Little Rock Christian Academy 9-1
    PF 464  PA 227  5 Win streak
3. Harrison    10-0
    PF 430  PA 77  10 Win streak
4. McClellan 9-1
    PF 414  PA 84  3 Win streak
5. Maumelle 4-6
    PF 388  PA 334  3 Loss streak
6. Texarkana 8-1
    PF 343  PA 159  6 Win streak

Below are the top six teams of Points Against from least to most.  Great defenses can help win games.
1. Harrison 10-0
    PF 430  PA 77  10 Win streak
2. McClellan 9-1
    PF 414  PA 84  3 Win streak
3. Nettleton 8-2
    PF 248  PA 112  2 Loss streak
4. Texarkana   8-1
    PF 343  PA 159  6 Win streak
5. Valley View 7-3
    PF 236  PA 164  3 Win streak
6. Pulaski Academy 9-1
    PF 476  PA 188  7 Win streak

So what is the thoughts of everyone on the offense, defense or balance of the two for teams going into the playoffs?

Great post, I will go with a great defense any day.  A great defense can also score points, I would be curious to see the numbers on how many points were scored off turnovers?  Hope Wynne makes it through CF so we can come up and play a great defensive team like Harrison.  Good luck in first round, and I hope every one comes out injury free.  Go Jackets
