6A State Tournament Structure and Power Rating System

Amendments added for the 2011-2012 Seasons

1.   Teams get points for the opponent's wins that you beat in Conference only.
2.   A win would count as only 10 points in all sports in order to be consistent.
3.   6A schools would receive 2 points for each 7A school played within the conference only.
4.   Take all teams to the State Tournament, the same as we currently do in basketball.

These calculations apply to conference games only   !
In the Sports of Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball and Soccer;

# of conference wins X 10 pts                                                     = _____
# of 7A opponents X 2 pts                                                           =  _____
Total # of wins of all conference team you defeated X 1 pt. = _____

VOLLEYBALL: Power rating – Take All

Each team would receive 10 points per win, conference play only.  Each team would receive 1 point for each conference win of the opponents that you beat. (You must win the game before you count the points.) Bonus: A 6A school that plays a 7A school conference only would receive 2 points for playing a higher classification. (Win or Lose)
