Booneville won three of their four pool matches at Mena, beating Mansfield, Lake Hamilton and Jessieville while losing to Fountain Lake. Then was upended by Mena in bracket play.
Booneville gets another shot at Mena next Tuesday.
Paris won the Alma tournament beating the host school in the finals.
