It was strategically smart for Stuttgart to play this week and have an off week before playing Southside, which could be for the conference title. It helps to play a quality opponent and have a full two weeks to prepare for conference play.

Dewitt played great, and, Stuttgart didn't. Why can't you accept that?  Nobody is knocking Stuttgart... Ricecakes are one of the best 4A teams in the state.

Burks will get his. McKnight will get some touches, as will the rest of the receivers. The Birds will have to stop Steppes to win. They were able to corral Cox, who was shifty but not fast. They were able to bottle up Daniels who wasn't shifty at all. Steppes is both. Secondary making tackles will be a must for Stuttgart. I see the front 7 stopping him.
