HSU Camps Set

Henderson State University will offer numerous volleyball camps this summer for all ages.
The Little Lady Reddie Volleyball Clinic begins the camp season on June 3rd through June 5th and is for those campers in grades 1 through 6.
The clinic will begin each day at 9 a.m. and will end at noon.

The clinic is designed to teach the skills of volleyball, with campers getting to play numerous games.
Cost of the camp is $30 with each participant receiving a T-shirt.
The MTXE Skills Camp is an overnight camp which runs from June 8 through June 11 for those in grades 10 through 12. Those in grades 7 through 9 will attend camp June 10 through June 13.

This camp is one of the biggest camps in the area. Campers will learn numerous skills, and will be allowed to work in specialty positions.
Cost of the camp is $235 for overnight campers and $125 for commuters on the meal plan. Camp includes room, board, insurance, camp t-shirt, volleyball and other items.

Specialty Setters Camp and Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter Camps are also scheduled.
The Setters Camp is July 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is for those campers in grades 7 through 12.
Setters Camp will feature individual attention in a more in-depth style. This is only a one day session. Setters will be exposed to a lot of things they can take back home with them. This day is an excellent way to prepare for your team's upcoming season. This camp is an excellent one to attend after skills camp. Camp fee is $60 and includes insurance, t-shirt and lunch.

The Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter Camp is July 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is for those campers in grades 7 through 12.
This camp will feature individual attention in a more in-depth style. This is only a one day session. Middle blockers and outside hitters will focus on offensive skills that they can take home with them. Defensive play and technique will also be covered. This day is an excellent way to prepare for your team's upcoming season. This camp is an excellent one to attend after skills camp.
Camp fee is $60 and includes insurance, t-shirt and lunch.

Henderson State also offers a Team Camp July 20 and 21.
This camp is designed for Junior High and Senior High Teams with teams put in different divisions.

This camp is designed for competition against other teams to prepare for the upcoming season. All participants will receive T-Shirts and play numerous games.

Teams can elect to commute or stay overnight. Cost for the camp is $95 per overnight campers which also includes meals, $80 for those campers who stay overnight but do not elect to use the meal plan, or $60 for commuter teams.  Coaches stay free in dorm to supervise their team.

All Camps will take place at the Henderson State Duke Wells Center.
