Been looking for Girl scores. Did they play tonight in Hackett? I think Union Christian and Decatur were supposed to play and Hartford and Eureka Springs were also playing. I have looked through several messages already.

Union girls beat Decatur; Hartford girls beat Eureka Springs; Magazine girls over Union.  Hartford girls were playing Hackett girls when I departed.

Final 51-47 Spring Hill Lady Bears. Congrats on 5 consecutive conference regular season & tournament Championships. And congrats to the Mineral Springs Lady Hornets. Went from being one of the Worst teams in the conference to the Top in one year. Very much respect for them

Girls final is Clarendon and Hazen, I believe Clarendon should sweep the district tournament, BUT it is being played at Hazen, I have heard from neutral fans, the calls have been suspect, at best. But I guess that's how it's been everywhere all year. I would guess they wanted to make sure Hazen had at least 1 team in the finals to draw a bigger crowd.

Have to agree with you.  Hazen outplayed Des Arc and the refs  had little to do with the outcome of that game.  As far as the kicking  that 22 gave the Hazen girl it was more upsetting that the Des Arc Coach was looking right at that event as it was happening and did nothing about it.  A huge smile crossed 22's face just before she stepped across and whacked the girl in the face with her knee so it didn't read as an accident at all.  The ref tried to say it was her ankle is that hit the Hazen player but it was all knee from where I was sitting.  22 certainly should have been benched for the rest of the game if not ejected.  It's going to be a tough road in Regionals for all of the 6aa girls teams but I expect that England will bring 22 and the DA coach down a notch or two.  England girls are pretty tough and won't be beat on.

As far as the crowds it looked like Clarendon pretty much filled half of the gym and I'm sure will again Monday.

I said the refs were suspect At best, meaning horrible both ways. The last part about making sure Hazen had at least one team in the finals, was only messing around, so don't take it so personal.

No, it was because the refs let it happen. It was a free for all in every game. One of our girls were shoved out of bounds almost into the stands and it wasn't called. Lucky there wasn't some serious injuries.

The AAA will assign the officials for Regionals, and they will be from that side of the State.  We have a Sup. in our conference who is on the AAA Board.  I can assure you he will have some input on the officials.  England bid and won the 5AA District tournment , and we were not allowed to hire the officials.  They picked the assigner, and he was from that area.
