Dang bub I thought you said WR would compete in our conference, and not be a bottom feeder ? Done lost to MT & Rector both teams bringing up the rear. I was at the game in the NEA against Marmaduke, and yes it was close, but really how good is Marmaduke ? Eddie Page, and that's it. Looks like your warriros are geared for another run. Sad about someones car
Sometimes you just can't explain it. Marmaduke played Earle pretty tough the other night then earle waxes the floor with BIC.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the 3 sweep the 2 in regionals. Past few years, outside of CR, the has been better anyway. But I was surprised Rector beat WR. We beat Rector by 19 and didn't at well at all.

Last night we couldn't miss. Wished we could shoot it that well every game.
I'm just picking at you. No harm. I think besides Earle teams 2-7 can beat each other on any night. I knew Rector had been struggling in December, but it was a good win for our conference.

Mr. Trill

2008 champs, 2010 champs, 2012 close enough, 2014 ???? What time does the game start @ Episcopal, should be close.

ISU7 do you think Earle comes in and takes down Episcopal on Tues.?
If Earle shoots like they did against Bic it will be close. Episcopal is on a whole different level than Bic, their guards will be able to keep up with Earle. Freeman is a tough customer. If Earle guards reach for steals like they did against Bic they will be in foul trouble quick and it could be a long night for the hyper Doggs. I'm thinking Episcopal wins this one. :) 8) GO DOGGS!!!!!

I'm not isu but I think that if the bahannon kid plays they could have a chance at knocking them off.  I've watched Earle a couple times and they are a real streaky team if they get hot they are tough to beat. I think it will be a good game. But I think episcopal will pull it out.
Exactly.....+1

The Bulldogs are 13-4 overall, not that it really means much now that conference play has opened up.

Wynne beat them, they lost a game in Harrison at the Lendel Thomas Tournament, they lost to Riverside and they lost to.... I know there's another one somewhere. It'll come to me.

Earle has some deadly outside shooters and some slashers that can get to the hoop and finish. BIC was way too slow for the Bulldogs pressure defense.  When earle wasnt tourching the nets from the outside, they blew past the Bic defenders like they were standing in quicksand. Looking like Earle is the favorite to win this conference, and EPC has awaken also. Too be continued in the wild conference known as the 3-2A  ;D 8)

ISU7 I was setting right beside you & didn't know it. I agree with what you said about Earle's quickness. It bothered us on offense also in both games. We couldn't get are shots off like we usually do & was rushing alot. Like I told told if Seth doesn't score we are not going to win many games. Pike can't do it by himself. The other 2 or 3 guards have got to put up some points.

The T also came at a bad time & what little momentum we had was gone that quick.

BICMUSTANG4LIFE

Rebels come to the MAC tonight!!  Look for another typical Bill & Buster showdown.  I feel sorry for the refs already!

EPC beats Cross County tonight 68-40. Rough game as in very physical.

NeaBaller21

BIC over Riverside 54-50. Coach Campbell thrown out of the game in the second quarter with two technicals(three the whole night) in a poorly officiated game. BIC got all the flop calls as usual leading to then hitting 29 free throws out of 37. Riverside trailed 15 in the third quarter and brought the came back to within 2 under 10 seconds left in the game. But BIC wasn't missing their free throws tonight.

Ive heard this song before.

BoxNOne

Yea, the refs were extremely bad at BIC tonight. If you watch many games around here, you knew when you saw these three walk out that it was gonna be a long night. It was.

bdubyab60

The ones we had tonight we're pretty bad as well.

Coach Hall did a good job tonight coaching Riverside

I think I called that one!! It did end up Coach Hall & I too think he did a good job.  Riverside just would not quit & at 50pts it looked like we just quit trying to score. I think it was 50-40 at the time. I watched it again when I got home on tubetown. We did not go into a delay  we just stopped attacking the basket. It made for an interesting finish.

Just watched the Riverside/BIC boys on Tubetown. I am now convinced no team will get a fair game shake from NEA refs when playing Bill. Is Bill friends with all these guys? You can't look at Pike without getting a foul but he can hammer someone and get away with it. They flop all over the floor and the refs in this area give them the foul.

xavier2011

Hahahahaha Bill Taylor friends with refs. You slay me. Most refs around here use his picture on their dart board

bdubyab60

You can't tell by the calls his team gets. Especially at home. You have to be pretty darn good to overcome it

Very surprising HF. Rectors got a heck of a coach, gets the most out of his players. I was surprised when they beat Walnut Ridge earlier as well.

Maybe Buster needs to let Hall coach a little more or is this just a let down after beating Bay.

This is the SEC of 2A basketball.  Lots of good teams that beat up on each other.  I do not know if there is a clear cut favorite to win the conference.  There will be one or two quality teams that will not make Regionals.

A terrible loss by Riverside last night to a team they had beaten badly earlier in the season. Talk about inconsistent play, beat a very good Bay team on the road on a Friday and lose to a not very good Rector team at home on Tuesday.

Im thinking Earle is the favorite now. Riverside got them early and since then they have pretty much walked through the conference. Most of their tough conference games thye have left are at home.

JMO Earle, BIC, EPC and Marmaduke will be the regional teams. Riverside or MT could  move in there. Believe the conference tourney is in Lepanto this year.

I like Riverside over Marmaduke in that 4-5 game if it happens. Riverside has beaten them three times this season.

Sometimes hard to get that 4th one Box. But it definitely could happen. Could be one of the most competitive tourneys in the past few years.

BIC still has some tough games remaining.  Going to be an interesting stretch. last night was prime example.
Just getting out of CC with a win was tough.
