With one shutout in 2008, four shutouts in 2009, one shutout in 2010, and four shutouts in 2012.

So I guess we had great players on defense every year except for 2005? As a matter of fact I'm assuming we had more talent on those 2012 and 2013 teams than we did those 2005, 2006, and 2007 teams? Do you not remember the D1 prospects we had on those teams? In 2012 & 2013 we ran the kind of defensive scheme with Coach Burnett that I'm talking about with good players not D1 players. We ran up against all kinds of offensive schemes and it still worked. Now those are what I call good defense's. And we were always aggressive putting pressure on the opposing offenses never bend but don't break. And by the way you can be aggressive without blitzing on every play.
