Fairly certain kid played a scrimmage at Russellville, moved to Lamar and played a few games for them...All was okay with the AAA until a conference opponent(that would have made the playoffs if they could have gotten Lamar booted out) filed a complaint or whatever ya gotta do to get it to court.

Any word on what's going on with current staff? Are they being reassigned? Each district does it different with hires like this.

He reassigned a few coaches. Bringing with him OL coach and hiring a DC. I haven't heard exactly who was reassigned, but I know that OL coach from Fay. is coming and he has hired a DC. Both are good coaches. I hate it for the coaches that got reassigned. Its part of the business unfortunately.

I am curious to know his strategy on how he can turn it around. can his style of coaching get kids out? Can he start getting some kids from Har-Ber?

He will have a chance of getting some kids from HB ( there are rumbles over there too) but more importantly i think he will fare much better than the previous coach and kids won't transfer to Fviile or HB. Already heard of one kid that can play that is looking forward to returning to the field.
The fans Ive visited with are skeptical but feel that Clark has a chance to turn things around and are eager to support him. Sounds like he is off to a good start.

There were three asst's that were going to be new and the this third one is dragging(though known).

Surely someone can confirm who the 2-3 new coaches are that are coming with Clark AND who those are that are being reassigned.. Sad times for a couple of assistants at Springdale High. Nobody likes to be an assistant in 7A and then having to take a Jr. High teaching job or perhaps going to coach in the Jr. High ranks. These things happen every year at this time. My thoughts are with those coaches being reassigned and thanks for sticking it out at Springdale High these past 5 years. $:-\$
