I guess by computer you mean calpreps.com. If they've only got 22 kids it will be hard to win any games in 4A. I don't see them playing Robinson, Ashdown or Fountain Lake that close. Like someone said they lost a good senior class and Madison. Madison might be the best athlete that town has ever seen.

They didn't hire the interim coach they had last year ....in my opinion they should've kept him as head coach those kids played with heart and was determined to win  ...but when they didn't hire coach Guthrie  it made a lot of kids mad ...

Hooten's says they have 20 seniors. So I think 22 seniors is more accurate than 22 players unless they had a mass exodus during the summer.

I promise coach Prescott is bringing old school smash mouth football and he's going to required them to put in work, something they obviously haven't been doing. He will get them going again. Sometimes you have to tear something down, to build it back up.

I guess the kids that left should have looked into Prescotts  background a little better, his teams at des arc over achieved on a yearly basis. All the kids have to do is buy into the system. Not to mention they probably won't see much playing time at benton.

That has to be a hard pill to swallow for the Bauxite faithful. Especially with the success they have had in years past, and more recently in 06 and 07. Watson had the program rolling then.

Call the school board and ask some questions. Let them know you're a in state statewide "inside guy"

Bauxite has what you call the "miner academy". Not sure if that's why it's popping up as a charter school.

Warren is called the "Warren new vision charter schools" or something like that.

WAtson did a nice job but there was a reason he got out. The resson being Arkadelphia, Nashville, Ashdown, etc.  they won when they were in a smaller classification.
