No south teams at all? And Nettleton isn't bad from the East this season, they're improving.  I think you're way too high on the West, but maybe the South is pretty weak too this year.

Just tried to be realistic.

So do you think the West is that strong this season or is the South that bad? Combination of both?

Pulaski Acad- Blowout X2

Harrison by 2, Gobs O is hard to stop but kicker here is Cards are just so inconsistent this season

Batesville- Blowout

Greenbrier by 3, home field advantage, if PantherBlue shows up then by 17, he has that kind of affect on HIS team.

Wynne- SH story book season comes to an end, I'm pulling for the Bears but Jackets win by 10

LR Christian, CFV ex coach James helps Warriors scheme out HS, LRC by 1

Beebe- riding hot streak, stud RB back with Badgers, close toss up cause N seems like a solid team, home team by 2

^^I concur:)^^   All 4 West/South matchups may be great games, as will the Beebe/Nettleton matchup.  I wish I could watch them all!!  Who knows, one or more of the other three games might be close for the first half or more.  I hope the score thread (as well as other threads) is active Friday night - if my phone will keep a charge, I'll keep folks posted from Batesville.

I like Greenbrier over Chapel but agree with the rest

Yeah, the Greenbrier/Chapel game is a tough pick. Chapel has the speed but Greenbrier has the scheme.

Youngsta71701

Man I love this time of year! It's about to get real exciting and a lot of questions are about to be answered.

Guess tonight's results squash all the "this conference is better than the others" talk, at least for now.  All of the 1 and 2 seeds won, this has the makings of an awesome 5A playoff.

Intelligentsia

No upsets but some very exciting games; with a couple #4 seeds giving a great effort.  Congratulation to the 3 and 4 seeds on a very good season.  They accounted for themselves quite well - take a couple weeks off then back to work for those who want to get back to the playoffs next year.

Picking all 1&2 seeds is easy - the fun part is correctly calling a few mild upsets 3 over 2, or big upsets 4 over 1.

MDXPHD

Picking winners is the fun part, regardless of what seed they are.

Going for the sure thing sounds like young lawyer. : ;).  When you get old like me, you look for the thrill of calling the upset.

MDXPHD

Haha. It's not a thrill unless you get it right!

All in your perspective - for me it's the thrill of the chase/risk.  Taking the easy route is not for me.  I'm the guy who goes for the green in two instead of laying up, traveling to risky places instead of going to Disney Land, and calling out a fake instead of keeping my mouth shut.  Well, you know all that about me MDX.  So you stick to the sure thing and I'll go for the dark horse :D

Phil Mickelson finally won a major when he realized that.
