GAMES OF INTRIGUE

This section is to highlight the matchups involving top ten teams

1. Pulaski Academy vs. 6. Sylvan Hills - Although PA has clinched a share of the conference title, this game is still a battle for the 1 seed in a sense...if SH wins by 10 or more they are the 1 seed. PA keeps the 1 seed if they lose by less than 10. If Sylvan Hills loses, they will be the 3 seed. This game has had a lot of anticipation built up around it.

2. Batesville vs. NR. Valley View - The Pioneers have clinched at least a share of the conference title and the one seed, but they would like to win the conference title outright. I don't believe Valley View can make the playoffs in any scenario but they would love to win for some momentum into the offseason.

3. Wynne @ 9. Nettleton - This game is for the 2 seed and an outside shot at a share of the conference championship. The loser would be the 3 seed. This game has a surprising amount of importance surrounding it that no one predicted early in the year.

4. Maumelle vs. 13. Little Rock Christian - If one team could afford to rest starters it would be the Hornets, who have clinched the one seed and the outright conference title. Little Rock Christian on the other hand could be out of the playoffs with a loss and could be the 2 seed with a win and if things fell the right way in the Harrison and Greenbrier games.

5. Hot Springs @ NR. Hot Springs Lakeside - A Trojan win here would give them the 1 seed and at least a share of the conference title. A Watson Chapel loss coupled with a win would give them the outright conference title. If the Trojans lose, the worst they could be is the 2 seed. Lakeside, with a win, COULD get into the playoffs if De Queen does the unthinkable again. This is a rivalry game that Lakeside has owned recently.

7. Watson Chapel @ 10. Camden Fairview - A Watson Chapel win guarantees a share of the conference title and a 2 seed. A Wildcat win plus a Hot Springs loss guarantees an outright conference title and a one seed. A Cardinal win guarantees at least a 2 seed. A Cardinal loss means they would be the 3 seed I believe.

8. Greenbrier vs. NR. Vilonia - A Greenbrier win clinches the 2 seed for the Panthers. In a worst case scenario, a Greenbrier loss plus a Harrison and Little Rock Christian win could put the Panthers out of the playoffs. That is Vilonia's best case scenario because then they would have won and be the 4 seed in the playoffs

Complete Biased PoV

With the forfeit of two games by McClellan, PA has to lose by 10 or more to drop the 1 seed.  SH has to win by 10 or more to not be the 3 seed.

Thanks Biased, I forgot to factor in those forfeits. I'll change it

From a Goblin perspective going into the playoffs, the South and West have a lot to prove in the 1st round after the dust cleared on those conferences games.
