Maumelle AD Sherman "Gene" Cox passed away Friday

I went to HS with Gene at Clarendon and he was always down with the Jr High Kids helping out.  A Class of 81 Grad he was the only 3 year Letterman in Football in his Sr Class.  His Parents still live in Clarendon.

RIP Gene and Prayers for his wife , family and Friends.

Coach Cox was a great guy who has done a lot of great things as our AD.  Huge loss for the Hornet community.  There will be a service for him this evening at the Maumelle High School Auditorium.
