Defensive end...B.J Thompson who played for England has announced he will be transferring from Baylor....he was highly recruited coming out of high school with several D1 offers from power 5 programs In 2017
Hope he ends up at Arkansas this time.
Hope not
Cause he isn't D1 talent.... UCA or lower
I know UCA is D1.... but if he wants to stay at that level it's UCA or it's lower

Some get confused about FCS still being D1
Other than the obvious level of talent, a notable difference between FBS and FCS is the scholarship situation. FBS has 85 players on full scholarship while FCS can have 85 players on only 63 scholarships. With that, some FCS players are on split/partial scholarships. Truth's thought may be that Arkansas shouldn't spend a full ride on him.
I think his thought is if he can't play for Baylor s defense then he's probably not going to help Arkansas s defense

He did play a lot for Baylor this year, he should of been playing receiver IMO. Not sure where he want's to go but he will end up at another D1 school.
He started for Baylor didn't he this year??

No
He played a lot of down this season. He is D1 talent, but I feel he is out of position. I think he is more of a tight end or receiver.
Why does he want to leave Baylor?
Heard he's going to Temple. Could be wrong.
What kind of numbers did Thompson put up for Baylor this season? Was he in the regular rotation?

15 tackles with 4 sacks as a back up defensive end.
That's not bad for a sophomore who appeared in 10 games. I'd like to see where he ends up. He definitely can help another D1 team or smaller D1 if he put up those numbers at Baylor. A-State needs to take a look his way
