I wanted to start a JC thread to feel special like everyone else.  Sooooo on that note, I must ask what sport played by highschool students today are the dragons not good at?

Swimming. But, only because there isn't a river at the border. ;D

Cricket!  We suck at cricket!  Give us a few seasons, and we'll be at the top.

Golf, and they actually compete in that one. I think.

We're actually not that bad at golf.

True Fan

Do they play soccer? It's gotta be a real sport. It's got a forum on FF.

Des Arc has a team does that mean we are better than JC at something ;)

dragondad

We have a local youth shooting sports team, but it's not sponsored by the school.

We're pretty much maxed out on sports due to the salary cap restrictions.

It costs money to have sports, true fan.  ::)

bdubyab60

They don't like long bus rides. Unless they are to WMS

Wilson

We have archery and modified skeet/trap shooting at jc. .its just the archery is on Saturday mornings from a tree stand and the modified trap/skeet is because we can't afford the clay pigeons so it takes place in flooded timber with ducks. . .

recruiting budget is too large to have those 2 as official sports ;)

Dragon I

Actually, the shooting sports team has made it to Nationals several years in a row.  One of the guys post here and I'm sure can fill you in.

True, rednecks are terrible in that sport.........

HorseFeathers

now guys...the real weakness for the dragons is this...wilson was cheap when buying his busses for recruit transportation. All the busses are fords...so we know at some point they are gonna break down, and those monroe and shreveport guys wont make a big game, and the dragons will lose. Unforunately they wont take it good and they'll be a mob rocking wilsons car as he leaves town lol

We qualified for nationals every year we competed, only went about 3 times (only when it was being held in new mexico, Pennsylvania is a heck of a drive) 3rd in the nation in archery, 3rd in the nation in land navigation our final year. Placed 1st or 2nd in state competition every year we competed. Of course it wasn't all JC boys, just 3/5  ;D

We came in 6th at state and Mason True made All State. Not bad for a school where golf is bottom of list for most people. They don't have an organized practice or a true golf coach.

Of course, those Outlaws didn't make it to either the tourney or All State so, again you're yap is irrelevant.
