Paris at Lamar

Paris has the toughest week in the conference, on the road at Lamar and at Charleston. The Eagles sit at 9-4 on the year after dropping two straight in the Bank of the Ozarks Classic, effectively killing any momentum they had after blowing out Atkins. The Warriors are off to a surprising 8-4 start, reaching the finals of the Mansfield Tournament before losing to Waldron. Lamar split it's first week of conference play, winning at Booneville and losing at Charleston. Tuesday will be their conference home opener.

Favorite: Lamar by 5

Charleston at Atkins

Atkins, expected to be a dark horse contender in the conference, saw a great start to the season come to a screeching halt. After losing to Lamar in the semifinals of the Logan County Bank Holiday Classic, they got off to an 0-2 start in conference, losing at Two Rivers and at Paris. Now the Red Devils welcome conference favorite Charleston to town. The Tigers dropped two against high level competition in the Coke Classic, but showed flashes. The Tigers sit at 1-0 in conference after beating Lamar at home.

Favorite: Charleston by 12

Two Rivers at Danville

The most talented backcourt in the conference belongs to Two Rivers. The Gators had a strong showing in Oxford, MS before coming home and knocking off Atkins to start conference play. Danville on the other hand has had a rough season so far, but picked up their first win in the Yell County Tournament to give the Little Johns some momentum. Danville fell to Booneville to start conference play. Two Rivers is a prohibitive favorite in this one, but the Gators have a tendency to play down to competition and it's a rivalry game, so crazy things could happen
