Just wanted some (biased) opinions on who you think will win the championship. Poll is open until playoffs start next week, and I will do the same one every week, just getting more honest votes after someone's team loses...

It'll either be Nashville, Robinson, Warren, or PG. Very easily could be a state title rematch from last year.

Robinson v Nashville Robinson wins the rematch

Two people voted Gosnell? Ok that will not happen.

Nashville vs Robinson (maybe Warren but I don't think they realize what's coming their way)

Nashville wins, of course.

I second Ozark JV....
Ozark JV is disqualified due to the fact they are considered a semi pro team.

Is PG better than last year?

I would also say yes like the other poster..... The QB is a coaches son so I imagine PG has the thickest playbook it ever has had. That kid is unreal smart and the Disney kid is all state caliber at all three facets of the game in offense, defense, and special teams. The RB does not shy away from contact just like the RB we had last year. The defense has to be top 2 in all of 4A IMO. Pea Ridge and Shiloh scored a combined 3 offensive TD's against PG and they are top 10 teams in 4A. The PG defense is for real.

LOL.... I thought this thing blocked you at one vote too? Maybe some Gosnell poster has magical fearless powers and gets multiple votes.

Dr. Defense

does PG still have the enormous TE from last year?

I've seen a little of PG this year and I'd have to agree. They are impressive.

It would have to be magic because I don't see them getting past the 2nd round.

They do not, but they just plugged in another enormous TE in his place that is a junior. This kid was giving Capps from Star City last year all he could handle and more as a sophomore on the DL. I think PG has enough juniors to keep this really high level for one more year then it will fall off to normal good!

The big dogs of 4a don't care about voting In a state title prediction.

They care about the real season coming up.

Things go like they should and you might have the horrendous honor to meet the bum if our two teams hold up their end of the bargain.... I plan on making it to a game if they can make it to the semifinals.

We had them last year. I am actually impressed they are stringing a playoff appearance run because they used to be the doormat of 4A for years. It's nice to see them win some games at least.

I've got Prairie Grove taking home the title of Class 4A State Champions.  And in doing so, they take down both of the 7-4A's best.  Robinson in the Semis and Nashville @ WMS!

After looking at the brackets a bit closer, I believe all Prairie Grove's opponents might just be from the 7-4A conference.  With Mena (#4 seed) round two and Ashdown (#3 seed) in quarter-finals.

Warren may have something to say about this.

Warren's road to the rock will have to take this path in my opinion

Stuttgart
Robinson
PG
Then probably Nashville.

Pretty tough gauntlet. Going to take solid play and of course a little playoff luck.

Dr. Defense

No doubt that's rough but they looked sharp last 2 times I saw them play

They are healthy and we have 2 back up running backs emerge mid season and with a 9th grader moving up.
