7a Updates, Results amd Discussion for 1/23

Van Buren - 54
Mount St. Mary's - 27. Final

Van Buren - 44
LR Catholic - 34 Final.
Catholic played Very hard and Van Buren's shooting was off all night. The Pointers pulled away after 2 steals in a row late in the 4th.

Northside 69
Springdale 49

It was a close one til the third quarter then Aaliyah Jackson took over, scoring 16 of her 19 in the 2nd half. All total the Lady Grizz had 4 players in double figures

BOYS:

Northside 58
Springdale 50

Daamm I just had a nice 3 paragraph game summary typed out and my phone shut off and lost it all. So ill sum up the summary now.
Northside started second half down 1. Came out on 6-0 run and never looked back. Got it up as high as 14 in the 4th. Tevin Brewer(soph) from NHS cannot be stopped on the drive . I with confidence say, his speed, quickness and him being so low to the ground and his handles. Nobody in this state can check him 1-on-1. He put the game on ice by going 6-8 on free throws the last 5minites.
Grizzlies really had a big rebounding edge, 35-21. That hurt the Bulldogs .
