what was the first year fast pitch Softball was played in Arkansas?  ( High school )

Rogers played it in the falls of 95 and 96.  Bentonville, Springdale, Siloam Springs and Fayetteville started in the fall of 97.  The AAA got involved in the fall of 98 and the first AAA games were played in the spring of 99.  Sheridan defeated Rogers and won the 1st State Championship in 99 and Rogers defeated Cabot and won in  2000.  Seems like there were more classifications in 2000 but I'm not sure about that.

In 1999 Fast Pitch was added with schools having the option to still play slow pitch. At that time there was only one classification for Fast-Pitch. The next year it was broke down by classifications with more schools jumping on board. I believe slow-pitch hung around for a couple more years before it was done away with.

Slow pitch was eliminated after 2002.
