Its about time to see the sunshine!

PrivateLesson

Cold this morning but thankful to see the sunshine!    Glad the rain has went away for a little while

I finally put up my Christmas tree....had the best time with my son.  He loves Christmas!   I'm trying to cherish every moment....I hope he never outgrows wanting to decorate for Christmas or to get excited for the holidays:)

This is some of the most irresponsible behavior I've seen from Mother Nature in a while.  C'mon!  >:(

Saw the first forecast that includes Christmas.

Chance of rain. Highs in the 60s. Maybe even the 70s.

Not complaining.

Saw something on Facebook that said, "what a nice spring we're having this winter." Now if only it feels this good come springtime

70 on Christmas. I'll love that. Christmas Eve, and Christmas day are projected at 74° and 75°. If that happens, and it stays dry, some friends and I will be ripping through the mountains on motorsickles. Now, that will be a wonderful Christmas.

Thirty two years ago today, the Red River in Shreveport froze from bank to bank.

"A record cold spell during the month of December in 1983 caused the Red River to freeze on December 16th as shown.  The Shreveport National Weather Service says that Shreveport stayed below freezing for a week from December 20th through the 26th.  The lowest temperature was 6 above zero on Christmas day.

Also, a whopping 5.4 inches of snow fell on the 16th!"

I read an article online (so take it for what's it's worth) that said the country may not experience an "actual winter" until February.

El Niño is wreaking havoc this year.

So global warming was happening in 1942? Ha

Jacketman65

I can understand global warming to a point, but 70 on Christmas??????
It is not just here though, still a major drought out West!

Valleysports

Global Warming doesn't swing or rise more than 1 or 2 degrees in a life time.  Projections by Global Warming Advocates are that temperatures will rise 3-5 degrees over the next 100 years.

Been some of the nicest motorsickle riding weather this time of year that I can remember.

I didn't finish this thing until late fall, and didn't figure she'd get much saddle time in until Daytona Bike Week. I've been able to roll her out a few times and spin her around a bit. I'm enjoying the winter thus far.

AirWarren

Shorts on Christmas. Kind of excited about it haha.
